An Evening With Wm. Paul Young Author Of “The Shack”

Feb 09, 2015

Paul Young, Author of "The Shack", Shares His Transformational Journey on March 6th

Tickets are available for just a few more days!!!

For those of you who attended Someone To Tell It To's 2nd annual fundraising banquet last year with keynote speaker Dr. Tony Campolo, you remember how much of a meaningful evening we shared together that night. The presence of God's spirit was evident in the room as Dr. Campolo delivered a powerful message about the importance of "listening to one another's stories and responding empathetically towards those who are lonely, hurting, or broken in some way."  (Click here to listen to part 5 of 5 of Dr. Campolo's message.)

This year for the 3rd annual Someone To Tell It To fundraising banquet we have the distinct privilege of listening to Wm. Paul Young, author of the international bestselling novel "The Shack", share his own transformational journey.  Paul Young's testimony is an inspiring one and will certainly cause all of us to do a great deal of self-reflection about how we engage with others who need grace, compassion, and unconditional love in their lives.  Click here to listen to a brief interview with Wm. Paul Young on the topic of "Grace".

“You... were created to be loved. So for you to live as if you were unloved is a limitation, not the other way around... Living unloved is like clipping a bird's wing and removing its ability to fly... A bird is not defined by being grounded but by his ability to fly. Remember this, humans are defined not by their limitations, but by the intentions I have for them; not by what they seem to be, but by everything it means to be created in my image. Love is NOT the limitation; love is the flying. I AM love. ”
